🏫 Doing a college visit today at the University of St. Thomas with our oldest. I have never been to this campus and it is so close to where we live.

⛹️‍♂️ It is tournament day today for our oldest. Should be fun as the team just seems to enjoy playing and they have a good chance of winning it all today. Here we go!

🧑‍💻 Always good to be back home working in the "shed office" after a busy week in the real office out East.

🧑‍💻 Changed up how the site(s) looked and after tinkering for a while I am happy with how they turned out for now. I need to do some code / css consolidation at some point but this will work for now. Also, finally no more duplicated stuff out there as it is all in one place and just linked / referenced.

😵‍💫 Been a busy day so far and it will be time wise a short day at that. On the home stretch now but I fear there will be a lot of stuff I need to do once I call it a "day" and hit the road.

🏫 The college tours continue this week as today we visit Iowa State University.

😴 Been a long day but glad to be back at home now. Looking forward to the weekend tomorrow .

😀 Productive morning so far because who can really sleep in… Went for a long run which ended picking up my jeep. Then off to get some grocery (thanks Apple Pay as I didn’t have my physical card) and now home to make a big breakfast/lunch for the kids before the afternoon stuff.

Such a great People and Blogs interview with Patrick Rhone published yesterday. I think this quote specifically is so spot on!

“That’s exactly what a blog should be — a reflection of one's interest and attention over time. A reflection of who one is right now and where they've been. Blogs are living things that should grow at the same rate we do.”

🌨️ Even with my snow blower that took a while to plow out the driveway. Time to cool down and relax for a bit until the next wave.

Keeping the streak alive with this years fitness step up (more on that later). However, I think my companion was not overly excited today walking though the snow.

🥶 Guess it didn't dawn on me that the shed heaters would not automatically turn back on when we lost power last Friday when we were out of town. So... the temp in the Shed Office was 30ºF this morning. I guess I will be working inside for a while

I almost ran inside tonight to change things up and figured that was my only option. However, I found a block of time and the snow was falling so I hit to the somewhat plowed sidewalks. I feel like at this point the city is just waiting for the snow to melt.

I don’t blame them for not shoveling this.

🧑‍💻 Up early today getting some work done before all the meetings start. I have tomorrow off so my Thursdays the last two weeks have felt super busy because of it. I think it is time for more coffee ☕️

🏀 Some great basketball watching today with upsets and what not. I should be doing so many other things right now but I am just watching TV. 🤣

Not the plan at all today but during my lunch today I realized that my Friday through Sunday was packed with things and trying to find time to have a longer run could not be guaranteed. So I decided I would just get it done now on tired legs. Physically hard but mentally with the views and being out there…...

🏊‍♀️ Up early for day 1 of 3 State swimming for our youngest. Could be some long days with prelims in the morning and finals at night. However, it is fun watching her have fun so… Let’s go! 🦊
