DND5
Mythic Bastionland
Google photos keeps getting crappier and crappier. Different options almost every time I open it and different options on every device. No clear way to remove sound from a video, anymore.
🎲 turned that "there are four approaches to role-playing games" into a blog post, now with added detail: https://why.anarch.dev/the-four-approaches-of-role-playing-games
Curious which approaches you like, and if I'm missing any approaches? #rpg #ttrpg
Happy 317 day to all who celebrate.
The Indiana state legislature may repeatedly undermine the ability of Indianapolis residents to effectively govern, but we are a resilient people.
Is there an Obsidian plugin that takes the Table of Contents view and inserts it (or manages it) at the top of the document with [[# links?
Update: found a few that automate it with a code, block, but I actually want that bit of the document re-written (so I can publish the markdown).
This one seems closest. Not updated in 3 years. Verdict is still out. https://github.com/hipstersmoothie/obsidian-plugin-toc
The purple Brach’s spiced jelly bean (clove) is definitely my favorite.
The pink (pesto bismol) is the worst
Also apparently “spiced” were the original flavors and “fruit” (now dubbed the “classic”) were the newcomers.
One of my clients has someone in charge of AI initiatives, and they've developed a framework that works very hard do distinguish between what makes humans special and what machines do well. Also,
* They are being very conscious about not cutting people, rather, letting humans focus more on the things that they do well. (it's helpful that they come from a strong Continuous Improvement culture that already had to bake in this approach.)
* They are very conscious of avoiding accountability sinks and reverse centaurs (machines are there when they help a human, not when the human helps or is accountable for the machine)
I wish every corp that had one these initiatives would at least take this attitude.
🎲 Fallen Blades/Endless Stars: play guardians (jedi) or star raiders (scoundrels) as you seek out life under the clutches of the empire.
