🏊‍♀️ Up early again for Day two of State prelims. I might have to seek out some coffee after I drop the swimmer off for warmups.

🏊‍♀️ Back at it for day 3 and since our swimmer will be swimming the last event tonight we won’t leave here till after 8pm. Going to be another long day.

I guess after a long weekend and 3 days of no running only walks made this run feel like work. Thought I would try some trials but found myself sliding around when not on the boardwalks so I might steer clear for a while longer or go back with trail shoes.

After a morning full of meetings one being 3 hours I had a break in the action and had to get out for a run on this beautiful day. Legs were tired but it was so good out there today for a lot of reasons. However, I got back and realized that I only had 10 min till the next meeting. 😬

We postponed a birthday dinner to when it worked as yesterday was really busy. For me it was just great being able to take one hour out of our normal busy schedule (as it is a slower activity week) to have all of us sit around a table, eat good food, share stories and laughter.

With the kids starting spring break today I decided I would get a run in early before work and anything else that might happen. It was colder this morning than other days but overall not bad out. Just wished there was more sunrise vs cloudy sunrise but I guess it still is a nice view.

🫠 Shopping with the girls this morning as we walk in and out of many stores..

🍿 Second movie of the night and the girls wanted to watch the Greatest Showman. I feel like this is in my top 10 ever since watching it with my kids what seems like years ago. When they ask to watch it, I don’t mind and tune in.

🤔 I have this strange idea of buying some notecards as a kind of notebook or place to jot things down instead of an actual notebook. Curious if anyone has tried this or does this as a way to keep notes. My thought being more of the time my notes are temporary and then if I want to retain something longer I... ericmwalk.status.lol

It was a long day at work but decided to try and get my long run in as I had a good amount of time to kill while our oldest was at a hockey practice. Not the bad weather we were expecting but it was misting most of the day and during this run.
