I am not quite sure why they agreed to be on my humble little podcast, but I'll take it. Today, I am honored to be joined by Dylan Harris and Drew B Darby. Dylan is a well-known filmmaker, and the creator/director of the feature film, The Chase, that covered the 2024 men's race at the Cocodona 250. Drew, also has quite the resume, with clients that include household names like Sally McRae and Heather Jackson. In 2024, Dylan recruited Drew to collaborate and help him on The Chase, and in 2025, they teamed up again at Cocodona to create another masterpiece. The film is called “The Cutoff”, and for all of us ‘normal’ folks, who constantly find ourselves at the wrong end of the timing clock, this is the film for us. The film tells the stories that don’t usually get told and does it with a level of production that is rarely seen. What you end up with is an amazing piece of cinema, and might just be the most unique take in this genre since “Unbreakable”. Or maybe I’m just super biased…but I promise you, the film is fantastic, and so is this conversation. So, get your shoes on for your long run, and heck, bring your Sachtler tripod with too, if you need it, but it’s time to hit the trail.
